Blackbriar – I Buried Us

Blackbriar – Floriography – Şarkı Sözleri

“Will you talk to me through floriography
Will you throw me a letter into the raging sea
Or should I stop?

I’ve been listening to ghosts
Imperceptible but so close
Searching for whispers to expose
I hope you’re messaging me in code
Been reading all the things you wrote
Every insignificant footnote

Did you leave a mark on a tree
That reminded you of you and me?
Have you been trying to visit me in my dreams lately
Will you write me a song in cryptography?

Will you talk to me through floriography
Will you throw me a letter into the raging sea?
Or should I stop being so persistent
Searching for something nonexistent?

I’ve been reading behind the lines
Been deciphering the signs
A couple of million times
Did you fold a page in my favorite book
Marking words from a quiet nook
Did you make an acronym out of a lyrical hook?

Did you leave a mark on a tree
Or speak through floriography?
‘Cause these ferns and foxgloves are following me
Must I heat up a piece of paper to reveal invisible ink?
‘Cause I’ve been trying to tell you so many things
And have been waiting for an answer ever since

Will you talk to me through floriography
Will you throw me a letter into the raging sea?
Or should I stop being so persistent
Searching for something nonexistent?

“Meet me at the Taxus tree
Quickly, silently
Don’t let them see, will you?”

Eluveitie Ànv

Eluveitie – Awen – Şarkı Sözleri

“As the clanking footfalls echo
With the mirthless concrete walls
Down the parting road
The end to unfold

Marching relentlessly
As if to break free
Towards the yawning void
Beyond the dawning light

For the end has come
As time is gone
Behold
The path foretold

When the time has come
For the end undone
Behold

All the gold in the scale pan
And the scheming of the damned
Erasing gods exiled
Paradise defiled

Will I ever hear the awen sing
In a cosmos filled with reverence
Will I touch the soil in awe again
And caress the whispering winds divine

Will we pray the vivid orison
Will we see the promised aeon
When slaughter become history
And the children of Anu unite”

Nightwish – Yesterwynde

Nightwish – Lanternlight – Şarkı Sözleri

“Gone is the hurt, the wait
Gone is the warmth of day
A stray boat saved, happy memories engraved
On into a velvety night
Beneath a lanternlight

Last night brought the heaviest of snows
Melting the songs of old
Tying the boat, write a new one soon
Sending me to the drowning moon
Far above a lanternlight

I`m in the light and flood
I`m in the four winds
I am the waves shaping pebbles flawless gems
I am the snow on your palm

I am the secret stream
Moss beneath your feet
I am you who climbed off of my back
Not long ago
A sheltered song
In a world now gone
Petrichor
The timeless

Turn loose the swaying boat
Meltwater, sound of spring
I hear our song now, sung by the free
For a thousand more tomorrows
Of an incomplete weave
To the meadows I go
I’ll be waiting for you

Once upon a lanternlight

I walk now toward the trees
The night falling at my feet
Into the forest of Yesterwynde”
